Savannah 12/31
In Savannah, we went down the the Market Place to see what was going on for New Year's preparations, and first foundThis Live Oak tree, Quercus virginiana, one of nature's better products. The Live Oak, a large spreading tree of the lower Coastal Plain from southeastern Virginia to southern Florida and to southern Texas, is the state tree of Georgia.
Here's Betty at the Market Place
and me with Marilyn and my mixed berry Gelato.
What can I say? I like dogs and was missing mine.
This, and the mixed berry Gelato, would be the link to Berry DNA.
And finally, preparations for the New Year's celebration.
Actually, we didn't stick around. Figured it would be too young and too noisy so we spent our evening in the motel watching the ball drop in New York City and Sushi drop in Key West.
