The 'Olden' Days






Probably several of us are of an age that we can remember scenes similar to these from our childhood. It is a time worth remembering not only for the hardships but for its simplicity.
For the rest of you, it is a time well worth knowing.
Take a look at these images taken by photographers of the Farm Security Administration/Office of War Information, which are some of the only color photographs taken of the effects of the Depression on America’s rural and small town populations.
