A Good Trip

I had the recent good fortune to have a visit from fellow Augusta/Washington Co. Berrys Charlie, #27, and Edgar, #125, who were on a research trip from Lexington, Kentucky, to Augusta Co., Virginia, to find the home place of one of their ancestors.

This would be me on the left, Edger in the middle and Charlie on the right.Charlie and Edgar are 3rd cousins.    Edgar and I are 7C1R.    Charlie and I are 6C2R.

In Lexington, Kentucky, there is a historical marker that refers to Edgar's GGG Grandfather, William Berry, 1755-1838 who travelled there as part of a hunting party from the Staunton area of Augusta County, Virginia.   











By all reports, a good trip.
