We leave this morning for the Vandalia Gathering in Charleston, WV.    The Gathering is sponsored by the West Virginia Division of Culture and History every year over the Memorial Day weekend celebrating the heritage and culture of the Appalachians in general and West Virginia in particular.    All activities are free and you all are welcome.   

So we don't forget. . . .


     In the four years and two months since we invaded Iraq on March 20, 2003

               3,434 U.S. service members have been killed,

                    25,242 U.S. service members have been wounded, in

                         "W"'s War.
